Question: I'm going to a wedding tomorrow during the day. Is $225 enough to give for my FH and I? I'm friends with the couple and see them (well, really only the bride) maybe once every 6 months or so. We talk on email most of the time b/c of our busy schedules.

Is $225 a weird number? Should I just do either $200 or $250? I don't know.

I like $225 especially if that's what you are comfortable with... who cares how round?

I wouldn't worry about the shape of the number, just give what you feel comfortable with. If $225 is what you want/can afford to give than that's fine. You don't have to go up to $250 or down to $200.

I think that amount is fine since you are just friends. If it were family or closer friend, I would say $250. I don't see what the big deal of it being rounded is.
