I think you should definitely stay somewhere. I know we will be. It just seems like such a special day, and IMO, it would seem not special to come home to my ordinary bed.

I am really into the idea of staying somewhere--for the sake of romance and keeping things special.. I live with my FH (in April it will be 3 years living together) and the last thing I wanna do is come home to see an overflowing laundry basket and toothpaste in the Bathroom sink! I want to be pampered! I know it is extra money to spend, but i think it's worth it. Besides, it is most likely the first time the two of you will be alone, behind closed doors, with no cameras on you all day. Why not enjoy those first few alone moments someplace special....JMO!

We are going home to our own home instead of spending the money. Unfortunately, because we are buying a house before the wedding some things had to be cut, and that was one of them.

We are going home only because our flight is at 8 am the next morning.

we are still working out the kniks as to what time we are leaving the next morning. But one of my BM mom's is giving me a night at the Waldorf Astoria as a gift.

Re: Wedding night

We don't live together so the wedding night will be our first night 'home' so we're staying in our apartment. Also we leave for our HM the next day. If we weren't going on HM the next day we would have stayed in a nice hotel.

FH and I booked the presidential suite at the Crowne Plaza Sheraton for our wedding night. We wanted it close to the airport, and he didn't wanna go back home. We saw EVERY hotel around their and the Sheraton was the best one. I am SOOOO excited

We are staying at East Wind! How do we get an upgrade?? Do we just ask for it? OR do we pay a TON?

We're staying at the Southampton Inn... I LOVE the place... they gave us two nights in their best suite for free! Yay!

you pay a ton.....it's 559 a night may -oct, and 439 nov-april. You get to apply the reg room they *sometimes* give you for free (the worth of the reg room rate) towards the amabassador suite. My mom was talking about getting that for us as a gift!

We are also staying at the Inn @ East Wind and would like to upgrade to the Ambassador Suite as well!

All the rooms are beautiful though!

Re: Wedding night

Our wedding is on a Friday night. We're spending our wedding night at a bridal suite at the Holiday Inn in Ronkonkoma...it's beautiful! Many of our OOT guests will have rooms there and we're having our friends come there too for an after party at the bar. The bar will stay open until 4am for us. We'll join them for a drink or two before heading to our suite. Saturday we'll say goodbye to our OOT guests, finish packing and leave for our HM Sunday morning.
