Where are you staying the night of your wedding? We're not going on our HM until a week later but we don't want to go straight home after the wedding. What hotels are on LI that have suites or at least really nice rooms that are moderately priced?

Re: Wedding Night
We are spending our wedding night at the Inn at Fox hollow. We have a really nice room, and I honestly think we'll probably only use it to sleep in. It's more moderately priced than Garden City Hotel.

Re: Wedding Night
We stayed at the Garden City Hotel on our wedding night. We actually booked our room on the internet (just a regular room) at a discounted rate. Then, they upgraded us that night to a suite for free. They must have done this when my DH dropped off our bags earlier that day. They didn't even tell us. When we checked in (at almost 1am) and went up to our room, we were pleasantly surprised to see it was a huge suite!

We are staying at the Inn at Fox Hollow along with a bunch of our guests. We don't leave for our HM until 4 days after the wedding.

Re: Wedding Night
we havent picked our hotel yet - but we are planning to stay wherever we block rooms for our guests - they usually give a good deal on your room when you block 10 or more

Garden City hotel is $$$ i called there to see about room blocks and the rate was $230 (that was discounted) i'm also mid june so maybe it was a little higher than other seasons but-- thats still a lot!

I stayed there in the honeymoon suite... it was so nice! Chilled champagne, chocolates, strawberries....rose petals on the bed. Nice way to end the night!
