Garden City Hotel.
Luxury accomodations and the Sunday brunch is fabulous.

Not sure how Oheka is laid out as far as accomodations. I was there for a wedding two years ago, and the entire family of the bride and groom stayed overnight.

we did The Garden City Hotel and loved it. We didnt spring for the 'wedding package', we just got a regular room but when we got there they saw our wedding attire and upgraded us to a king size room.

garden city. or maybe oheka because it would be different. then again I wouldn't want to go there. I wish I could afford it. i'd just get sad wishing the wedding could have been there at oheka.

Are you having a brunch the morning after? If so I would stay wherever your guests are staying so it's easier for, and splurge for a suite!!

Thanks, I think I'm going to go with Oheka. I just wish they'd work with me more...Garden City allows a later check out and breakfast in bed, always a plus.

I don't have any experience with Oheka but we stayed at the Garden City Hotel and it was wonderful.

If you don't mind me asking, how much is Garden City?

On their web site it advertises a wedding night package for a little over $400...

How much is Oheka for one night?

Re: Wedding Night Hotel

Oheka is actually cheaper, it's $325 for a Chateau Room...but I'm not sure what a Chateau Room looks like and it's not a package deal like Garden City so you don't get any extras thrown in (rose petals, champagne, etc.)

Garden City- only because I'd be afraid that there would be a wedding at Oheka and we'd be the only outside people staying there. And Garden City Hotel is bigger, so even if there is also another wedding there, its not like we would be the only outside people. But Ohekas rooms look amazing!!
