Wedding party question

Are you not supposed to have married people in your wedding party? Technically speaking, I mean, because I know that we can basically do whatever we want, I'm just curious.

I havent ever heard of that. I have several that are married in my bridal party.

I have married people in my BP including my best friend and her husband.

I've actually heard of it before - and was going to 'enforce' it but one of FH's brother's is married and FH wanted all of his siblings in the bridal party - so we now have one married couple in our bridal party (actually now that my brother is engaged and if he gets married before me- we'll have two married couples) - oh well there goes that...

of the 10 members of my BP, only 3 aren't married.

I never heard of that -- I had a mix of married, engaged and single.

Four of my GM are married and one BM is married. I have never heard of that.

I hve only one couple that are together(engaged) everyone else is not attached to each other. It's really up to you

FH actually mentioned this to me when we first got engaged..I told him no way were we doing that since one of my best friends was married at the time we got engaged and one recently got married.
