Wedding Programs...necessary?

I am on the fence with programs for our ceremony. I dont want to spend the money on them to just get thrown out. What are your opinions? Are they necessary?

i thin if your getting married at the church it's nice.. many of my friends who got married at their venue didn't do programs

Wedding Programs...necessary? - Long Island Weddings

We are getting married at our venue and I recently decided I am not doing programs. I think for a church wedding it is nice, but not necessary.

I am getting married at a church and I'm not doing them. They are nice if you want to spend the extra money. It's not worth it to me bc they're just going to get thrown out.

I'm getting married at my venue and decided against them, but maybe if you are torn you could do like a big chalkboard one when you walk in for people to see? I saw something cute like that on pinterest.

I don't think it's really necessary... we are having our ceremony at the venue and are not doing them.

Its a matter of preference. You can always DYI, I believe there are templates available online for free if you search for it. I too am getting married at my venue but may do it myself as a keepsake.

My friend is making them for me. They're fun mementos. They're not necessary though. It's a preference.
