So, I stopped to get my E-ring cleaned this weekend, and while they were cleaning it, I was looing at wedding bands. I fell IN LOVE with a diamond band. I tried it on, and my E-ring is to low! It's leaves a gap with every ring I tried on. I'm not crazy about the chevron bands, and don't know what else to do. The lady said the could reset my diamond into a setting with 'shoulders', but I really like the setting FH picked out...what do I do? How will I find a ring that will work with my E- ring?

nothing sat along my band either - and i have a very high setting - but my band kind of domes up towards the high basket - hard to explain....so all the rings i was trying were bulging out on the sides past my ering band because they were different shapes - so mine is being custom to sit flush with my ering band

And I even got a band custom made, the design matches so they complement each other, but they don't touch each other completely. And it's fine. To be perfectly honest, I see ALOT of e-ring/band combos that don't sit flush with each other, I think it's increasingly more common now because e-rings are so 'different' now, they range in setting/style from the standard band with the solitaire that they used to all be. People are getting vintage/antique designs for their e-ring and it's very hard to have something sit flush with those. My e-ring looks beautiful with my wedding band and there's a gap. Don't worry at all, just get a band you love. And remember, it always leaves the option open for you to wear them on separate hands as well.

I would love to see them myself! I have a tiffany lucida setting and it cannot be raised, according to my jeweler. So I will have to do something to the wedding band to make it fit too, probably curving the band which I am not crazy about it because then it will look strange if I don't have the ering on ....not sure if I will ever do that, but I would like the option ...

These are my thoughts exactly! I tried putting my e-ring on my right ring finger, and it doens't fit...so that option is out too....

GO CHECK OUT HAMPTONSBRIDE's RING!!! Its twisty and it might work because it will fill the gap! I wanted that ring so badly but it didn't look right with my e-ring
I have a gap too...its really not that big of a deal trust me
