Wedding shoes

Hi Everyone! This is my first post on this website, after spending about the last six months gathering great info!

My wedding is next June, and I'm looking for wedding shoes...I definitely want to buy designer shoes, but am looking for somewhat comfortable ones, so 5' stilettos are out! I came across these Jimmy Choo wedges that i've seen in person that are gorgeous! take a look and let me know what you think - are wedges not dressy enough? or these are because of the sparkle :) I know some consider it a waste to get expensive shoes for the wedding, but i definitely want to! thanks in advance :)

Wedding shoes

Super cute but not dressy enough IMO, not necessarily bc of the wedge but I feel that the textured look gives it a sportier feel.

Totally appropriate for wedding shoes, it's your day you should get what you want and what you will be comfortable in.

Wedding shoes

I agree. They are very cute, but a little casual. It really depends on your dress, though.

Wedding shoes

See, these wedges are really good. But a bit casual. If you are wearing a gown, these shoes just gonna peep through your gown. So don't worry about looks, as long as they are comfortable...

Re: Wedding shoes

They mite be a bit too casual but they are gorgeous! If you can I would get nice open toe heels for taking photos in .. i know my sisters photographer took really nice pictures of her shoes.. And get those wedges for later in the night to dance in instead of flats. My sister had flats and wore really high shoes before that so her bustle dropped so much people were stepping on the back while dancing :/

Wedding shoes

If you are willing to spend for wedding shoes, I would go for Angela Nuran shoes. I would have gotten a pair for myself if I weren't so budget conscious! That being said, the ones you posted I think are fine in terms of dressy. I wore my shoes from 1pm til almost midnight on my wedding day (from White House Black Market), and truth be told no one even noticed (and no one noticed when I switched out of them in the last half hour).

Wedding shoes

IMO they are too casual. And if you going to spend that kind of $ don't you want to wear them again? I bought Jimmy Choos, but I took into consideration that I would wear them again.

Wedding shoes

Love them!!
What I like about them is they incorporate the a few of biggest factors you need to consider.
Comfort
Future wearability
And that extra dazzle.
No one will see the wedge heel, all they will see is the toe.
To me that's the best of both worlds, dazzle with comfort!
But that's just my opinion. If you love them go for it.
Also if you are set on jimmy choo's I would consider taking a ride to the outlets in river head first.
Might get something you love for a fraction of the price!
