Wedding shoes--> oh the agony!

Do you know how hard it is to find a pair of shoes for the wedding that are exactly 2 1/2 inches that will actually suit my dress?????!!!!! I found some, but its hard for me b/c I wear 3-5++ everyday!!!! But b/c FH is only 5'8 and b/c he doesn't want me to tower over him, I am respecting his request and trying to find a shoe that suits my dress and is 2 1/2 inches.

I found some on myglassslipper.com, but is anyone else wearing 2 1/2 in heels? If so, would you kindly mind sharing where you got them from, and maybe if you have a pic? I saw a pair from Kate Spade that is cute but they are “slide in's”, which means there is no back, so the chance of me busting my butt on wedding day is relevant...

check out perfectdetails.com, they have really cute shoes at all different heel heights

Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa and Shoe Elegance in Lynbrook both had some 2 1/2' heels.

Also, my best friend had lifts put inside her husband's shoes when they got married, because without heels, they're only like an inch apart. Might be an option for you?

have you gone to DSW? they have a lot of stuff there, also i went on zappos.com and they also had a lot.....just not sure what style you were going for.......here are some pics

thanks ladies! I think after I get back from Vaca, I need to drag FH with me to try on shoes and make him stand next to me. And he will wear lifts lol. Thats an ingenius idea :)
