I am using 'Could Not Ask For More' as our first dance and 'At Last' by Etta James for our good luck/bridal party dance!

But of the 2 if I had to pick one, I'd vote for 'I could not ask for more'

Those songs are both great, what if you use both but make one song for you and future hubby only.. Like for instance John and I are dancing to Don't Wanna Miss a Thing, then we are having other couples to come in and join us to At last..

We want the first dance to ourselves and then the second dance is called a 'good-luck' dance and that's when the BP and parents come and join you. I've seen it done at a few weddings and liked the idea.

We're using I Could not Ask for more for our introduction when our baby pics are shown, and At Last is our wedding song.

FH wants to use Could Not ask for more. I actually made a CD of different songs that I really like and am undecided about. I let FH listen to it and he picked the ones that he liked. Edwin McCain's song was the one he liked the best.

Both songs are great. I like At Last a little bit better but its not an easy song to really dance to unless you just do the cling and sway.

We used At Last & started an Etta James craze in my family. We took dance lessons & it was awesome. We just love that song. I like the other song too, but I don't think it will be something that's played throughout our lifetime. Most importanly IMO, your first dance should be the one that means the most to you!

I agree w/ dancing to both!!!

What I was thinking of doing (which you can do) is after you cut the cake why don't you tell the dj to play the second song! I REALLY love the song 'When You Say Nothing At All' (the theme song to 'Notting Hill) but my friend used it. So after we cut the cake I'm going to have the dj dedicate it to John from me!
