Wedding themes

Do any of you have a theme for wedding? If so, what is it?

With so many ideas floating around are any of you girls using a theme to bring it all together?

I'm trying but it's just not working out. My FH is wearing a kilt and I was going to try and base the colors and maybe some of the designs off his tartan but it's just not flowing.

I love doing this kind of stuff (DIY, graphics, etc.) but this is a hell of a time to get 'designers block'.

About the only thing I have nailed down is the STD which really doesn't tie into the whole tartan theme (except that I used shades of blue and green). It mostly ties into the 'we're nuts' theme.

My theme is yellow roses. My flowers will be all white with yellow roses, my monogram is a yellow rose, and all of my programs, menus, favors, OOT boxes and placecards will have a yellow rose ribbon flower glued on.

My wedding theme is us - i know is so 'common' everyones wedding is about them - but thats what i wanted - very rich and vibrant colors- im all about color and our place cards are movie tickets and tables are movie posters. Grooms cake is a movie poster - music is totally us

Thanks! Of course FH hates it but I love it because it shows how wacky we are (which everyone knows) and it ties in with how he's always telling me he rescued me from a life of 'Cat Lady'dom.
