week of the wedding Thursday and Friday and then two weeks for HM
me too. My last day at work will be that Tuesday, the week of the wedding. Then two weeks after that.

I am taking the thursday and friday off right before... then i am getting married the saturday before my Feb. break (I'm a teacher) so I will have that week off. Back to the kiddies the Monday after my wedding.... if I am really exhausted, I might call in sick on the MOnday.... but I am untenured so I don't want to rock the boat too much!

We're getting married on a Friday so as of now I'm planning on taking wed & thurs before off & then 1.5 - 2 weeks after.. depending on how long our honeymoon is. I can't take anymore time off than that.

if i'm in the same district i'm in now ill have 2 weeks off prioi and then i'm taking at least a week off after for HM soo .. like 3-4 weeks ... not by choice though it kind of just happned that way

Since I'm a teacher, I can't take off more than a couple of days, and contractually, I can't take off the day before a holiday, so I just have Thanksgiving day and Friday. I might take off the following Monday, and then we'll go on our honeymoon over the Christmas break.

So how much time are you planning on taking off for the wedding:
Me: Week B4- 1 week to 1/2 week HM- 2 weeks
A week or two before and probably a week for HM. My FH can't stay away from work too long.

How do you girls have all of this time off?? I HAVE vacation days, I just couldn't be away from the office that long!
I worked Thursday before my wedding, took Friday off (AND my office called me, I thought DH was going to freak) and then I got the next week for my honeymoon (5 work days)
I'd do some checking with the bosses before you plan all of this time off!!
(sorry if I sound like Debbie Downer, but I just haven't heard of all that time off!)
