wedding weekend?

i have a dilemma.

We would like to have a mini party on saturday night for out guests at the hotel. It would roughly be 100 people.

i have 2/3 options.. please let me know what you think or if you have ANY other suggestions are very very much appreciated.

option 1.
At the hotels' restraunt offer buffet style platters of vegtables, wings, mini hot dogs, meatballs, cookies, brownies, soda, coffee, tea, etc. inc.
for around $600

Option 2.
I bring milk and cookies in the lobby sitting area along cakes, brownies, etc.
for a lot less.

option 3.
For even less, we do just cookies in our hotel room for an in and out type of thing.

i should also say that there are about 100 people staying at the hotel :)

The mini hot dogs were $75 for 3 platters which roughly added up to be $2 a hot dog for a mini! most people eat 3-5 average, thats one expensive hot dog. lol

I feel like im nickel and diming at this point but its getting out of hand and we have very little money. I Unfortunantly, I sent out STDs that invited guests to a saturday night pre wedding celebration before my dad lost his job. He was paying for the majority of everything but now he obviously cant.

I am still extreamly greatful for all anyone is contributing too but i just dont want to come accross as cheap.
