Anyone having an afternoon wedding and having fears?
I changed my wedding to the afternoon to save on costs and I had a horrible dream where no one danced or ate and complained how it was too early to 'have fun.' I was mortified when I work up and now I fear that it'll come true...
any thoughts??

i think ur wedding will be great.....an afternoon wedding just gives an excuse for an afterparty!!!!

Your family and friends are what will make it a great party... not the time of day. I think you will be just fine, have some great sparkling sunlight for pictures, and still be able to go out and paint the town red before heading in for the night

mine is an afternoon and Im not worried at all. We were in an afternoon wedding last year- afterwards a small group of the close friends of the bride and groom all went out for burgers and beers....it was a blast! We hope to continue the tradition!

also I have been to 2 weddings where people didn't dance..one in the afternoon and one at night..the problem was the MUSIC!! that night one was fairly recent too..omg it was so bad had NOTHING to do with the time of day!!!

I am having an afternoon wedding too!
I would not worry at all. I went to one afternoon wedding last year and it was the best wedding EVER!! The music was great and everyone was on the dance floor to the very end. It even rained a little bit but no one cared.
Your guests will be excited no matter what time of the day it is. They are there to celebrate you :)

My wedding isn't an afternoon wedding but I just went to one at the Westbury Manor in December and it was great! Everyone ate and danced! After the wedding we all went back to the hotel and partied some more - you have nothing to worry about!
