hey girls my birthday is coming up in September, I want to go away for the weekend. with. we have been very busy at work and hardly see each other Can you girls suggest anywhere not too far from the city and not too expensive where we could go just for Friday to Sunday morning?

Boston is a great time. JetBlue has a bunch of weekend getaway packages on their website (shameless promo for my company)

i never stayed there though - they probably have a bunch of cute little bed and breakfast places!

we actually went camping in Mystic Ct in the beginning of July and it was so beautiful... There are a lot of B& B's

How about Cape May? It's a town at the tip of the Jersey Shore, very quaint beach town with alot of historic sites... and Wildwood is not too far if you want some boardwalk fun. :)

I agree... they are charming, old school.. and not ridiculously popular - which means the prices are reasonable and you don't have a ton of people to contend with. We love to go up there and hike, horseback ride and mountain bike. Of course... we don't DO THAT ANYMORE! But only because we have 2 little ones. *sigh*
