Weekend Getaway Ideas

Weekend Getaway Ideas

FH and I really need to spend some quality time together. I'm emotionally overwhelmed since losing my dad and stressed out from work and caring for my mom. We need to just relax, enjoy each other, etc. We want to go away...probably just Sat-Sunday. Any ideas?

PLEASE no Montauk, Hamptons, etc....that's NOT my kind of area....we all know how I feel about LI and that's sort of the epitome of it (at least in my head!)!

Thanks ladies!

What about Mystic, CT. Or Boston. Or the Poconos.

Maybe go upstate to wine country and spend the weekend in a B&B? Or even a B&B in CT or RI....they have some really great and cute places to stay.

I just told FH and we're debating between Hershey and Dorney Park...we were exploring B & Bs but this could be fun and distracting...I need to NOT think for awhile...thanks so much girls!

Salem, MA or Portsmouth, NH...I don't remember how long the drive is though. I've heard Cape May, NJ is nice too.

Dorney is definitely cheaper, and closer. But, Hershey has the AMISH!! I love the Amish.

I wish I were going to be here this weekend!

I am sorry for laughing. But I can picture you saying this (in the voice I gave you in my head). 'But Hershey has the AMISH! '
