Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
Oh Im' sorry about the bad news MrsH, I eat in bad times for comfort too....
I can't weigh myself this week, I took the scale with me when I moved, but I put on a pair of jeans I had here that I haven't worn in a few years, YAY!!! I'm also using this as an excuse to go shopping this week and buy some new clothes...
We have been eating like maniacs though since I've been home!! Which makes sense since I haven't had normal food in 5 months, so we're taking advantage of it, too bad I haven't worked out here yet so I need to get on track to help myself out!

Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
I went to the gym 4 times last week for an hour each time. My calorie intake is something I'm slowly working on but I ate a little healthier this week. I'm down 3 lbs and I am proud but I have a long way to go!

Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
Since we started, my goal was to lose a pound a week, but with stress, school, work, and no immediate need to lose weight... I gained like 2 pounds per week! No idea how! Anyway... today I have a cold or sinus infection coming on and I feel terrible! So... I'm still gaining! We should have a messaging system on our phones that sees us going for a brownie and beeps before we can put yummy food in our mouthes!
Ugh! I feel so terrible/bloated.

Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
I hear you about stress and all you want to do is eat.
I have found that by picking small goals for different things foer the wedding has been helping me. When I was looking at it as loosing x amount by April of 2012 I was not as motivated because I was like I have plenty of time.
Now my goal is that by the time of my Engagement Photos which we are going to do in January I want to be 10 pounds thinner!

Does anyone attend meetings or do you do it online?

Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
I attend WW meetings (or at least go and get weighed) in Huntington.
I start the post on the 2012 board every week and everyone posts whether they gained or lost to keep us all motivated. It has really helped me.
I have about 30 - 40 pounds I would like to get rid of by the wedding!

Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
I find that the meetings are really inspirational (especially when it is a good leader). I have found some good alternatives and new foods which are low calorie at the meetings.
I do not go every week to the meeting. Sometimes I just pop in o get weighed but I try

Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
Hello Ladies,
I'm also a 2012 bride and wanted to join your group. I've been on and off weight watchers and also started a new job this year. I'm usually a stressful eater so definitely looking to not be making that same mistake since I want to start looking for dresses in Jan. I'm also looking forward to having access to brides on LI since I'm getting married up there, but live down in VA so it's definitely more difficult to plan when I'm not up there. So any ideas or info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Weekly WW and Weight Loss Thread
I'm in WW. I was going to the meetings and was finding it helpful, but it's difficult to keep it in the schedule. I'm also thinking about trying to start getting back there. They do give interesting info about strategies to avoid temptation, foods to help fill you that are better choices. I found out about the Green Giant individual packs there. They're awesome. 2 points for broccoli and cheese and sweet corn. There's 4 in a package, you just stick them in the freezer and pull one out when you're in the mood and stick it in the microwave for a minute and a half. It fills me up for awhile and I didn't hit the candy dish.
