Anyone try doing WW online? I work long hours, and cannot make any of the meetings (and my weekends are full of wedding stuff, you ladies know the drill). I want to lose about 20 lbs, and WW seems like a good way to go, but not sure how successful the online program is. Any feedback would be great, thanks!

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
I used WW on-line for the same reason, I am very busy. I lost 25 pounds in 4 months. But I did not just follow the food program, I worked out at least 4 times a week for a min of 30 min. I normally did Walk away the pounds 2 mile walk. This way I could just wake up a 1/2 hour earlier and get my work out in.

I would be interested in this too. Maybe a bunch of us could motivate each other and do it together. I also need to lose 20-25 pounds.

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
I joined the online, but I prefer the 'human touch' and joined the meetings. So far I've lost 6 of the 20 lbs I want to lose. Just like jlabs the key is to exercise too. I think WW is great - it does work, you just gotta stick with it, evern whe you get disillousined (sp.) by the scale Also, lots and lots of water, as much as you can drink

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
Walk away the pounds videos are by Leslie (I cannot rember her last name but it begins with a S). There is a 1 mile, 2 mile, and a 3 mile video, I like them because I am not big on aerobics and don't like bouncing around but you get a great cardio work out with these videos without all the bouncing and complex movments. Basically it is a walkng in place with easy movements like kicks and side steps. To increase to workout she adds weights. Also becuase there are 3 videos if you don't have an hour to spare you have the option to do the 2 mile (1/2 hour) or 1 mile (15 min) workouts.

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
I think WW online has been great. Over my liftime I have tried hundreds of diets, I started WW online in May because I wanted to lose 25-30 lbs before my wedding and maintain it afterwards. A co-worker who had lost 150 lbs recommended it. I have so far lost 20 pounds and gone from a size 9/10 to a 5/6 and it feels great! If anyone is interested in joining and wants to form a support group or start a WW challenge count me in, I'm at the point where I really need some renewed motivation and I think some group support would help!

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
I just went to my FIRST meeting on Friday. According to their '10%' guideline, I need to lose 15 lbs., although in reality I'd be happier with 20. Question for you 'pro' weightwatchers....are you really strict about counting points and keeping a food journal? Just knowing that I'm going to be held accountable at a weigh-in each week seems to be motivation in itself!!
I'm excited to be trying this...I REALLY hope I have some success.

Good luck Brooke.
FTI, I totally failed my first day. I won't even go into how many points I had yesterday. WE went to dinner last night !!! UGH !!!

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
Did you make them take the bread basket off the table? That's my downfall for sure! I'm a carbohydrate junkie..The moderator at the meeting I went to said 'would you sit at home eating dinner with a bread basket in front of you, eat it and then maybe ask for more bread?' Well, most people said of course not..so I've eaten my last basket of bread in a restaurant for awhile!

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
I'd love to join a WW support group. I've been on WW for about 8 - 9 weeks, and lost 9.6 lbs. The online doesn't well for me. The journalling and points counting are a must, although I don't do it on the weekend. Its been working well for me. I do notice that although I am not 'counting' and journalling on teh weekend, I am making more points friendly choices.

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
I've been a good girl today. I counted all my points and so far I'm not hungry.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can start our support group?

Re: Weight Watchers Online?
Hi ladies! I'm as usual having a rough weekend, I am never able to keep track of points on weekends! I went to a party last night where I saw some people from college that I haven't seen in over a year and they definitely noticed the weight I lost which was a good motivation, however I still ate and drank way too much! Then I went to dim sum in Chinatown today and again stuffed myself. I've promised to get back on track tomorrow! How did everyone else do this weekend? Hopefully better than I did!
