Re: Weight Watchers Support Group Thread....
Whoo hoo to this board!
I used to have 1c rice krispies, 2 medium size banana, and 1/2c 1% milk and it was 5 pts. This monday I am having 1 packet of apple instant oatmeal and a banana-4pts!
Leaving work now, goodluck everyone!
Lets all enjoy our last weekend guilt-free before monday!

Re: Weight Watchers Support Group Thread....
Here's a hint for you guys -
Start counting your points at your favorite meal - say dinner, breakfast then lunch.
It's much easier to follow the program that way. if you love dinner then use the bulk of your points then - you won't mind using less at breakfast and lunch.
Until I learned that I used to be so disappointed thinking I only had 7 points left for the rest of the night.
Good luck everyone! I lost about 18 lbs through WW. I do need to go back - since my wedding and honeymoon I've gained about 5 of it back.

An easy breakfast is the Special K cereal bars I think they are 2 pts.

Re: Weight Watchers Support Group Thread....
I agree that planning is the key to WW. In total I lost about 30 lbs (unfortunalt I gained most of it back )
When I was at my best I used to have my meals for the day written out and my points totaled before the day even began. It kept me from picking knowing that, for instance, I had a 3 pt snack coming up in 1/2 an hour!

Re: Weight Watchers Support Group Thread....
Can I join this thread? I actually just finished my first week and am down 1lb. Yay! I am a slow loser, but I have 15 weighins until my wedding so I am hopeful to losing at least 10 pounds, but we'll see.
I did weight watchers before and lost 20 pounds (10 back on )
I am pretty good with the points system from the last time I did WW so feel free to ask!!

I actually went this morning and rejoined weight watchers!!! I was on it about 2 years ago and lost 30 lbs and since then put 20 back on. I figure if I learn how to eat right now I hopefully won't be stressing right before my wedding.

Re: Weight Watchers Support Group Thread....
i would love to join this thread if you all will have me
i've been involved with WW since may 2003. started out at 137lbs, got down to a goal of 123, then decided to eat like a pig, and now 129. just went back to meetings 2 weeks ago.
so how many of you are doing the online program, and who is actually gonna go to meetings?

Hey girls!!!!! I started weight watchers two days ago on my own, I am a previous member so I have the points finder slider thingy but the thing that I am confused about is exactly how many points I have, I am giving myself like 24 points, could anyone tell me what the points are supposed to be for like 160?????

i joined the online website because i find that it's much easier to track points that way. there are also lots of great recipes on the site, which i love. i am also going to meetings because being accountable to their scale every week really motivates me. and the discussions at the meetings are also excellent. i highly recommend them!
