Weight Watchers Thread

Original post by Jan05Bride

Hi ladies. I thought maybe we could start a WW thread where we can talk or share recipes and motivate each other!

I'll start: I found a 2 point breakfast finally - yeahhh. I had eggwhites with spinach on low-carb bread, a cup of coffee with very little skim milk. And it was filling!

I want to try that cake that Princess Rose posted soon. Yummm - chocolate cake

Welcome aboard the wagon!

Girl please I haven't journaled anything in a week and a half. Not to mention I have been eating anything in my sight.

How does the online WW work?

I wanted to go to the meetings but things are too crazy right now. I hear you all talking about it and it sounds great. Thanks!

You register online. You have access to Point Tracker which is were you journal all of your meals. It also has food and activity points calculators, food directory, recipe searches and a recipe builder (helps you figure out points for your own personal recipes). There's also a place to track your weight and weekly progress. Everything is automated.

Instead of going to a meeting you can go to the community boards for support, ideas, etc...

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

I gained 0.6 pounds this week ... I'm so annoyed ,.. I knew this would happen
So now I know, NOOOOO flexpoints for me!!! 20 points a day - 140 per week - that is it!!!!!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

You may actually want to use a SMALL amount of your flexpoints - I've heard about people losing easier when they use the flexpoints than when they don't.

::shrug:: I'm not an expert or anything, but it'll make your life easier.

i had the applebees ww menu yesterday!

fh was so cute he ordered from it to cause he's trying to support me! lol

anyways, i had the barbeque chix salad or whatever, it was okay. the chicken was good, the sauce a bit spicy...the lettuce...just plain iceberg and stuff, but still it was nice knowing the points.

fh had the baja chix wrap and he said it was tasty!

i had the choc rasberry cake for dessert...MMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! it's a small slice but DELICIOUS!!!

fh had the cheescake strawberry one---just a warning is more like ice cream but still tasty!!!

let me know if you guys try anything!!!

I lost 2 more pounds this week. Six in total...not bad for 3 weeks.

My jeans fit me again.

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

Congrats to everyone who had good WI.

I have hit a plateau for the 3 weeks. Although, I haven't lost any weight, my clothes are getting looser. I read on WW board that people who use the FIRM often experience that. So I am going to change the routine for a week and do some more aerobics.

Have any of you been searching the receipes on WW website? I found some really good ones and some ideas on the community receipe swap area!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

Don't fret...it's not even a lb, it might be water retention

This week i am finally down another 4lbs. I had a plateau for 3 weeks - no gain, no lose. Switching up exercise routine really helped, I stopped doing The FIRM last week and upped my cardio.

I was down 7 pounds in 4 weeks, but haven't weighed in in 2 weeks..... not as much weight as the first time I did this, but I am doing a lot of strength training at the gym.....so the clothes are all getting bigger & I feel better!!
