Hi ladies. I thought maybe we could start a WW thread where we can talk or share recipes and motivate each other!
I'll start: I found a 2 point breakfast finally - yeahhh. I had eggwhites with spinach on low-carb bread, a cup of coffee with very little skim milk. And it was filling!
I want to try that cake that Princess Rose posted soon. Yummm - chocolate cake

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
I'm down another 1.8 pounds this week! That brings my total loss (since Dad and I made our bet) up to 28 pounds (24.4 on WW).
Yay!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
I have been doing WW for a while now- a couple of FYIs:
I lose better when I use my flex points, everyone is different, so try mixing it up if you are having trouble
Someone mentioned a website that has a lot of the points on it- here is one that has TONS of restaurant points http://www.dottisweightlosszone.com/
She got the nutritional info from a bunch of places and calculated the points herself. She is not representing WW, but I think they are fairly accurate from some of the stuff I have looked up myself. Good luck everyone! Donna

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't been on the WW thread in a while. Last I posted that I reached my goal. Well I got so happy that I thought I could eat what I want and I have blown WW completely, I can't tell you how bad i've been. I think I gained back all I last and then some. Starting monday I am back on, so I am having my last hoorah this weekend before I am back on the program Monday.
I need so motivation though because I have been slacking off so much!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
I joined last week but I didn't really do it. I need motivation!!! I was fine up until the leader kinda insulted me for asking about something. I don't know what it is about leaders, if you ask a question they don't know they give you a snotty reply. I wanted to know how I could find out how to count points of foreign made foods that I can get in my supermarket (things that DH likes to have because it reminds him of home). I've taken to eating some of it - it's good - but I have no idea how to tally the points because they don't have the same nutritional value box on the back like we do. She said to me when I asked 'go to Irealnd and find out'. Biatch.
So now I'm wondering if I can do the online WW version even though I signed up for the meetings. I guess I'll have to go next week and find out.
Oh and I emailed WW in Ireland and they're sending me their points calculator that works with foods that are made in Irealnd and UK. They don't count fiber, only calories and saturated fat. I hope it will match up with my points that I eat.

That is sooooo rude! You should report her. Her comment is unacceptable. She should have just said she doesn't know or tell you how to contact someone who might.

I can't believe that leader got an attitude with you. They should be there to help you. I would call up weight watchers and find out who you can complain to about that leader. Try calling the 800 number. I believe it's 800 641-600. Double check it because I am not sure if that is correct.

Bedda- Good luck!
I started last week- and went to my first meeting thinking I blew off the first week since I joined Memorial Day weekend. I had lost 1.2 pounds !!!!! I couldn't believe I lost anything! So, let's all support one another, we can achieve anything we want to.
I can't wait to fit into those jeans I had bought BEFORE the wedding again!!! I went to the gym all weekend and it felt great. Just like anything else, one day at a time!!!!!!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
I have just decided to go to a meeting wednseday night instead of tonight. I can go to an earlier meeting on wed. Tonight's meeting is at 7 and it's kind of inconvienent for me because by the time I get home it is too late to make dinner. So I am going to an earlier meeting wednesday.

Ah- try not to look at it that way. Just look ahead at how much you want to drop No sense in looking in the rear view mirror....
Anyone here live near Bayside and attend meetings? Want a meeting buddy?
ETA: good thinking going to a meeting on Wed.

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
I've lost 7lbs total. It took me a month but that's ok. I definitely see/feel the results. I think I have to up my exercise to loose more each week.
Let's keep going ladies.

Re: Weight Watchers Thread
How's everyone doing this week.
I skipped out last week b/c I felt fat but went today and lost another 1.6, bringing it to a total of 4.6. I know it's slow but I also know I'm not being as strick as I should be. I'm OK with a little at a time.
