ok, so i was wondering...how the h*ll do you go to the bathroom with all of our layers of stuff at the wedding?? I don't know if this is a silly question, but i seem to have a small bladder( FH calls me chipmunk bladder..haha) and i can't see myself lifting all that stuff to go to the bathroom. how do you do it??

Ive been to two weddings where about 3 of us went in with her to hold her dress up. It was a bit embarrasing Im sure, but it has to be done or it gets dirty! Ewwwww! Mine is so big I dont know that I will get in the stall!! LOL

I am very close with all my girls, but have no desire to help them on the toilet when they get married!! I'm bringing a robe to the bridal suite, stripping down, and goin' it alone!!

me too...and like i said i have a small bladder, i would spend most of the wedding getting dressed and undressed.

I plan on holding it all day. It's happend b4 at big events. Like when I would wear my dance costumes in my recitals, I was so overly concerned with performance I wouldn't even think about mother nature calling. If I have to go I'll prob take the dress off or maybe have just 1 girl help me out.

I went to the bathroom 2x after I was dressed. Once @ the church and once @ in the bridal suite.
both times my friends came witrh me and I completely stepped out of my dress. Was the easiest way-

I think my sister is going to have to help me....not really embarissing for either one of us...since we took care of each other after our C-sections...nothing can embarass us after that

I've been thinking about this also. I may just step out of my dress to get things done a bit easier - but then again, I have the button back and each button has elastic I think I'll be needing help in the potty! lol

I didn't use the bathroom at all once my dress was on...didn't feel the need to. If you do, take help to hold the dress up because you can't do it yourself.

thats a good question..i have no prob with my girls holding up my dress...i mean when we were younger at bars we always went into single bathrooms together..maybe we are weird..but i think its a girl thing because i know we werent the only ones

I was in the bridal parties of both of my sisters weddings. They both had big dresses and crinoline slips. We (all the BP) would go to the bathroom with them and hold up their dress! Not the best part of the job, but someone has to it!!
One of my sister's didn't drink anything throughout her entire reception, so as she wouldn't have to pee!

I really think some of your dresses will be way too big to hold them up yourselves and I also think there would be too much time wasted in the bathroom getting in and out of our huge dresses without messing up our hair/makeup etc. Just go with your friends and let them help you out.

I had to go really bad and my best friend had to help me. There is no way to do it yourself if you have a big dress with alot of layers. It was a little embarrassing, hey- but when you gotta go, you gotta go!
