FH and I just went walking through Kings Park psychiatric center-I know it sounds weird-but the place is gorgeous.
We plan on taking pics at The Vanderbilt, and the Old Field Club, but I was wondering if it would be weird to take a few quick pics-just me and FH there. It has that old, creepy look-we love places like this and the grounds are very pretty. Is this too weird? Honestly, and yes I mean honestly.
Or what if we took some E-pics there-any less weird?

i think that would be awesome...its different...i would do engagement pictures only cause how many places are you going to take pictures at day of?

I'll be honest...I love creepy places too..one of my favorite places in the whole world is an old cemetary in Rome!
I say go for it! I'm sure the pics will be gorgeous

I don't think it'sd weird... The grounds ARE really nice. There's a bar right across the street from it - I forget the name - it used to be Upper Dock, they do haunted hay rides through it on Halloween weekend. Maybe you can borrow their hayride-mobile and get some cute pics in it as well!!!!

Thank you girls-FH loved the idea, but thought I should run it by my LIW girls. The scary people do come out at night-the patients they let out when they closed the place down.

Lindsey that place does have beautiful grounds and no it wouldnt be weird. i think engagement pics would be awesome there!! ive been there many times before and loved it. never thought of that for e-pics. oh and you have FM!!

Being a person who lives right behind it.....it is creepy...very creepy BUT it is beautiful! However, it is private grounds now, I'm not sure if they'd let you take pics there.
