Does anyone use moisturizer for their eyelids? For some WEIRD reason during the dry winter my one eyelid literally peeling (sorry if TMI) and i have been putting facial moisturizer on it but it comes back. Are there 'eye' moisturizers?

Re: Weird question but....
I don't have dry eyelids, but Neutrogena Swiss Formula (in a little pot) works best on my hands, which are resilient to all other moisturizers. I wouldn't use it on my face areas that could break out because it is a little greasy but it works really well.

Same thing always happens to me. I just keep using the same moisturizer and it goes away for a couple of months and lasts about a week then goes away.

eye cream goes on your lids but see a derm. if it persists.

Yes! I do! Mary Kay makes two excellent ones that I use each morning.

Use an eye cream. Eyelids are usually more sensitive than your face so that is why you should use an eye cream rather than a regular face cream.

I have the same problem.
My dermotologist suggested that Vasoline makes a product called 'creamy vasoline'- it works great! You only need a little bit- I wear it under makeup. It will go on feeling a little slick, but once it sets in (a few minutes later)- your skin is just soft - not peely- and it lasts all day. Plus, a bottle is only like $3 and you can buy it at any drugstore.

I use L'Occitane Shea Butter. I used to have an awful problem with the skin on my eyelids being dry, but not since I started using this. I just use a little at night - none during the day. It works great!

You may have what I have- Blephiritis. Go see your eye doctor. My dermotologist told me that. I have a special cream for my eye lids my doctor gave me. I also have to wash them with Baby shampoo when it starts to bother me.

I DO I DO! I use anew eye cream or Hydro Surge eye moisturizer, both by Avon.
I have very sensitive skin and I wear contacts everyday, so it is a delicate yet effective moisturizer
