it is weird. Plus, I thought there were laws agains the consumption of food at funeral homes. They are pretty much limited to coffee and water.

Its 100% disrespectful when there is a viewing a few minutes after and there is a body there. I would be soooooo pissed off if that was my family member in there. I know they are dead but still..... just because they are dead does not mean they can/will/should be put in this situation! I'm furious about this! Not at the couple, at the Funeral Home.

I thought about this as well. Maybe the Board of Health rules are different outside of NY?
