If this is a repeat my apologies-- I have been trying to post this.
HI-
I was looking for some ideas on a welcome party instead of a traditional rehearsal dinner. We have a lot of ppl traveling from out of town and want to invite all of them. (~40-50 ppl). We are looking for something within reasonable cost and fun!! We looked at Dave and Busters a few weeks ago but then I thought it was a little cheesy.
ANY ideas you can give me would be a big help...I'm lost on ideas.

Re: Welcome Party
One idea...a cocktail party at one of the wineries. Not sure how expensive that would be.
Would you consider a party at your house or your parents' house? One of my friends did a backyard party...a clam bake idea...and it was great. You could pick a theme and run with it...and it would probably be cheaper than a place.
I'm going to have a rehearsal dinner for my bridal party...but also want to do a welcome party. I was considering a dessert/cocktail party...to keep costs down...and the work minimal

Re: Welcome Party
I think bowling would be nice as well....not sure if 300 is the same as strikes, but strikes has an indoor race track and it's 21+ after 9pm.

Re: Welcome Party
I like the race track thing-- I'm going to call tommorrow. I thought about bowling but all the girls said no b/c they are getting their nails done that morning and don't want to ruin them right before the wedding.
