not the same situation, but my cousin whose wedding I was in 2 years ago called me 2 weeks ago and told me she just found out she was pregnant and already has a 4 month old so she was resigning from my wedding.

Listen things happen that are out of our control and noones lives revolve around our wedding so we have to understand. Just remember that in 20 years when you are looking at your pics you want every girl that stood beside you that day to still be in your life and if you question wether they will or not than they shouldn't be in it

Do you have a younger girl maybe in your family or FH family who you could replace her with? Younger girls tend to be excited and easier to please and won't start the whole 'why didn't you ask me to begin with' garbage. Just a thought.

I originally planned on using my 2 girlfriends and their families in my wedding. One of them started dating my brother and then cheated on him and started acting really psycho. So now we are not friends anymore. I lost 2 BMs an usher and a flower girl. So i decided to scale back and just include family and my best friend. I think it worked out for the best and there has been so much less drama! It will all work out in the end and remember you don't want anyone there who doesn't want to be there!

i don't even think she is coming to the wedding at all............. sad situation

so sorry to hear that!! maybe it's for the best?? i haven't had that happen because i haven't asked anyone to be in my BP yet! i think replacing her with a junior BM is a great idea!!

its sad but from what it seems you were doubting having her in your BP so this may be for the best!! dont let it get to you!! Cheer up!


For this exact reason i kept my BP small. I have my sister, my cousin, Fh cousin and my friend. thats it. I love my friends, but friends come and go and i really didnt want to lose a friend a regret having them in all my pictures and etc. Your family is always your family (although you can end up hating them hehe)

I'm so sorry!! I don't know why 'friends' are so unsupportive.

I haven't asked anyone yet..I'm trying to wait for exactly that reason. I don't feel I have anyone I can REALLY depend on..and it s*cks..but thats life!

It's amazing how people can turn on you like that at this point in time in your lives. I am having a small party with my MOH (my aunt), FH's cousin and hopefully a close college friend of mine who lives out of state and I haven't asked yet?!?!?!
I hope evertying works out for you and I can't help but say all this talk definitely worries me a bit.....
