Went dress shopping for 1st time!!

just got back from my first dress shopping experience. i started at wedding salon of manhasset. it was fantastic in there.

then i went to bridal couture right next door. they were having some huge sale, but none of the dresses had tags. so i had no idea who any of the designers were. the lady who helped me was very nice, but it seemed like she wanted me to buy immediately.

it's not easy to find non-strapless dresses.

Well a lot of the dresses will be strapless but they can add straps to some dresses depending on teh designer. But this was just a starting point, it'll get easier the more stores you go into.

Oh how exciting for you you sound happy...I hope this is the beginning of more fun...I hope you find THE dress soon...

congrats on your first dress experience! as another bride said--u can always add straps. my dress is strapless, but i do have the option to put straps on if necessary. (still not sure if i will)

My dress was not only strapless, but had a straight neckline. We totally redesigned it and I had the them do a sweetheart neckline with halter straps.
