Went Dress shopping today(with pics!)...neeeeed advice

Ok Girlies...I went to paradise bridal today, on a whim- a designer sent a sample there for me to try on that i had been unable to find so I felt obligated go- even tho i told myself id hold off on shopping for a few more months

I ended up not loving the dress but finding one that i absolutely loved!!!

Here are my dilemnas!!
#1. I feel like my wedding is too far away and Im afraid of committing so soon-(FH & I are thinking april/may of next year, going to book next week)

#2. The whole time Ive been shopping, all I looked at were mermaid, trumpet style dresses and this one is totalllly opposite, but it's beautiful and I love it! So I'm worried since it's totally opposite- but maybe thats why i never found 'THE ONE' i dunno

#3 my family is so difficult and they just didn't give me that warm feeling when i showed them pics- mom included- i took my aunt with me and she loved it in the store

also, if anyone has annnnyyy idea who makes this dress that would be great!!!! paradise rips the tags of the dresses!!!

Your dress is GORGEOUS!!!

I see in your pics that Donna helped you!!

She helped me when I was there and was super helpful!!

You should ask her who makes the dress!!!

Dont' worry about ordering your dress too early. I picked mine out on a whim, it wasn't anything I was expecting!! usually, they dont order your dress right away.

that dress is gorgeous. I can't wait to start looking at dresses. I Love maggie sottero dresses and demetrios. They look similar to that dress but I have no idea if that is that dresses brand.

I bought my dress from Paradise bridals, they won't tell you who the designer is until after you purchase the dress. I really like the 3rd one, it is beautiful.

I wanted lace and wound up with no lace at all.

As for the dress when you know you know I tried on like 30 dresses before I found one that I had no regrets about buying.

It is just a feeling of please don't make me take this dress off please LOL

EXACTLY!!

I sat in my dress for like 45 minutes because I loved it so much and I didn't want to take it off!!

It's really funny though. I'll look at the pics of me in my dress (in my photo album) and it still doesn't register to me that I'm getting married!!

Even when I was trying dresses on, I felt so weird that I was wearing one!

I think it's because everyone in my family thought I wasn't going to get married (because I'm too independent) or that I wasn't going to get married until I was a lot older.

i did the same thing today... i was just walking around in the dress...i was like ummm do i have to take it off?? can i just go home in it??!!

UMMM the ball gown type dress is AMAZING!!! I love it - it kinda looks like an Eve of Milady dress, but i could be totally off!!

I'm getting married in April and I ordered my dress about 2-3 weeks ago...I had tried on somewhere between 35-50 dresses...never got that 'feeling' but when I ordered and realized I can't wait for it to come in that it was the ONE.

Go with your gut..It looks great

k this is kinda wierd, i do know the designer of this dress I happen to be a manager of a bridal salon, HOWEVER i do not want to get in trouble on here, ive heard of ppl gettting deleted b/c of advertising themselves however this is not what i am doing i am just helping out a fellow bride. The designer is justin alexander and it is gorgeous!

love the second one. i had the same issue where i only wanted mermaid and ended up getting a ball gown. i'm totally in love it and it's never too early to get a dress

there is.... get two dresses ....i wish .... i hope
