Went to check some halls
I went to see Leonards and Jericho TerraceLeonards- The guy was an a**h**e. I felt like he wasn't even trying to even charm us. He was pretty much like this is it take or leave it I dont care. Made it sound like everything he was offering us was gold.
We went to Jericho Terrace and it was a completely different experience. We got to try some foods and desserts. The venue is beautiful and I'm sure it will be nicer after they finish some of the renovation. But it was still pricey for me.
I got prices for Monday night reception which isn't completely bad.
What are your thoughts on Monday night wedding?
Can you ladies share your quotes for Westbury Manor, Crest Hollow,Woodbury Country Club? or any other venue in that area ?
TIA!!!!!

That really stinks! If they are not nice just walk away from the start you don't want people like that helping you plan the happiest day!!I was quoted 125pp plus tax at Westbury Maner, but I have heard they are not the friendliest there unfortunately, but I did not meet with them so I could be totally wrong!
Also if you want to do a Monday night and it is in your budget then do it, just know that people would be most likely having the take two days off of work to attend the wedding which may drop your guest list.

One of my friends said. If people really want to be there they will. Since I will be giving them more than enough notice. Jericho terrace has 2 events going on tonight and it was packed. Ppl still showed up in a snow storm. The roads were a mess!

Hi I'm getting Married Thursday June 30. 2016 (which is 4th of July wknd). If you look into a weekend like that Thursday may not be a bad way to go and I'm saving some $$$. My friends sister is getting married Thursday before Memorial Day. Let me know if you need or want any other information. Happy Planning! :)

I totally understand wanting to save money and that those who want to be there will be and so on, and if you are able to just brush off complaints then go for a Monday night. To me that's asking a lot from your guests since some of your guests would need to take two full days off from work, specifically those who are out of town/traveling. I would suggest trying to find a Monday holiday (Columbus Day, Veterans Day) so at least some people would have off the day of the wedding. I always like to look at things as if I was going to be a guest and I can say that Id be annoyed going to a Monday night wedding, just my opinion though.I think there are quite a few venues that offer a good deal without having to be on an off night, have you looked into any of the Lessing venues or East Wind? They both have all inclusive packages that are more budget friendly. I realized your looking more west, and I believe there's a venue in East Meadow or Bethpage that is also all inclusive but the name is escaping me.. Is it the Sterling? Good luck!

I would probably do a holiday Monday, I'm hindu and I have to have a hindu wedding as well so that is also pricey and that will be the day before the reception

I'm not sure what your budget is but if it's around $100 pp, crescent beach club in Bayville mentioned to me that the Friday after thanksgiving is $100 pp!

Thank you
I'm hoping to be under 100 with tax
I still would need limo and photgrapher & videographer for 2 days since I'm doing a hindu ceremony as well
So I'm trying to keep the reception on the low end since I rather put my money towards pictures and Video

Definitely check out Mansion at West Sayville, we were priced in your budget on a Friday night in November with a guarantee of 125. I'd also suggest The Riveria in Massapequa, I think they would fit your budget as well.

Thank you so much
One of the other girls here told me she paid slightly over 100 and got the deluxe menu with 9 choices. they were only offering me the 5 choices. and I had to pay $750 for ceremony space when someone over the phone quoted me 600 for the space.
