The food was excellent! I don't know if we will book there or not. If we took the upstairs room, there is no elevator and I don't know how the older guests would hike up all those steps. That was a big turnoff. We'll see...

wait, were they serious? My fh and I were sitting here cracking up. Heck, they would be carrying my heavy family up and down all night.

Accessibility was my #1 priority when looking at RHs as my father is confined to a wheelchair. We would not have made the minimum for the downstairs room at CLM, so unfortunately we had to rule it out immediately. Good luck!

I was there last week finalizing my menu and Nick told me they have all the stuff for the elevator, they are waiting on the town for the permits... I don't think it'll be ready by my wedding, but maybe sometime in the new year it will be...

The watermill has an elevator to the downstairs room. there are a few steps up to the main floor, but only like 6 steps maybe.

They have been waiting on permits for roughly 7 months now. When we met with him we asked if it would be ready by January and he answered us honestly with a no way...

Totally serious...he said they do it all the time... It would not have worked for us..
It's not their fault - they are waiting on the town to get off their butts' and do something about their permits - but it is affecting their business...
