Even though it was pouring rain, I still fell in love with Swan Club However, neither the Contessa or Garden rooms really blew me away, but I still loved the general atmosphere and gardnes! I have to convince FH that it's worth the trip and that our guests WILL come out there. I loved that it had a somewhat retro feel to it.
NRC was very nice, but there was too much noise from Jericho Turnpike if we had a ceremony and CH outside.
Jericho Terrace was beautiful and the price was very good, but I wasn't crazy about the room he gave us (the downstairs room). I don't think the ornate style of JT is really us.

i actually liked the way the gardens looked in the rain... ive been there for the tasting when it rained.... still so gorgeous! oh god... i wonder how many people are sick of me for my constant preaching about the place?!?! haha oh wellz....
Mazz i'm joining the preaching train with you!!! haha. I also loooovve the Swan Club. I really liked the Contessa Room too, even though we have to have Camelot for our size party, don't get me wrong i love my room too. Did you see the contessa room decorated? When i was there a girls family was putting the linens on the chairs with the sashes wrapped around and it loooked really nice! I did not even see the garden room, is that downstairs?? it looks nice on the web...

If you dont like the room that they give you in the swan club.. try the camelot room and see if you can get them to lower the minimum.

If you do Friday, Sat. afternoon or Sunday they will probably lower the minimum for camelot room.

Yeah but if she does a friday night....she wont be able to do reap the benefits of the beautiful gardens....those gardens are gorgeous!!!

I beg to differ. i'm doing a friday night there, and we're having our cocktail hour start at 6:30 and going to get there a little earlier to take pictures. In June the sun stays out late, until at least 7:30. Then later on they have lights all along the gardens so you still get a pretty effect with the lights. But you are right if you're thinking of fall or winter months....
