Went to the Dr. today for my itchy skin...

and I am NOT happy

I have what is called PUPPP (an abbreviation for some insanely long name) that I will have until I DELIVER!!!! I still have 5 months to go!!!!!!!!! I got a prescription for Zyrtec, but the Dr. said that i the Benadryl didn't help, there's a good chance this wont either.

If I'm not commited to South Oaks by the time I have this child I'll be amazed.

Oh my Stacy This will be something to remind your future baby about when they are 16 and they are complaining about you. You can say, 'I put up with 5 months of itching for you!' and then they'll feel bad. It's really a bargaining tool for your future. See? If you look at it THAT way, it ain't so bad, sista I'll just remember to get you those loofah poofah things for a little gift. You can itch yourself with them

Yikes! How frustrating. Hang in there. That would be upsetting to me too. I can't even imagine. I've only been itchy for the last two weeks and I am going crazy. I only have three weeks left. I hope the new medicine works for you.

Well, at least PUPPP is not something that can hurt you or the baby -- the itch is pretty terrible though. Here is a support group I thought might help; at least you know you are not in it alone http://members.optushome.com.au/westhoff/puppp/

You poor thing. I would hate to be itchy like that. Take care of yourself and make sure you write all of this down so that when the kid is a teenager and wants to borrow the car you have plently of reasons to say no.

Sorry about the PUPP!! My friend had it also, but she got it towards the end and upon delivery! I know I had an itchy boob, but it wasn't PUPP, but I can relate on the itching!!! Feel better!!!

One of my friends had that. Her Pharmasist gave her cream to put on it. I can't remember the name for it However it use to be only by perscription I just saw a comercial for it that said it is now sold over the counter. It starts with and S and is in a white bottle with Blue writing. The comercial said Available at CVS Rite Aid and I think Walgreens. I think this helped her.

I hope you can find something that will work.
