We're just going to register for a few items tomorrow at C&B and Macy's.

Does anyone have any tips about those 2 places??

We went on line and saw some things we liked and have a good idea of what we are looking for.

We're not registering for bath or bedroom stuff as that can all wait till much later on.

So any tips would be great.

I would say don't reg at Macy's they are a pain in the butt. Fortunoff is much nicer. I am reg there and BB&B

There's one in Westbury. Is that the one your talking about?

If so...It's in The Source Mall on Old Country Road. Take the Meadowbrook Parkway. Get off at the Merchants Consourse Exit. That will take you to the parking lot behind it. You'll see signs...they're everywhere.

There is one on Westbury and another in Garden City, I believe. Look on fortunoff.com for all locations. Since I moved to NJ, I went to the one in Wayne, NJ. But it is very easy to register, they have nice selections and friendly customer service!

I just told FI about Fortunoffs and he said that they sound so much better then Macy's

I originally reg for Macys and was so unhappy with them. Fortunoff's is great! It's very organized and has a lot of classy stuff. The prices are comparable to the other department stores.

Sorry...I'm wrong. The clearance center is in Garden City but I think that's for outdoor furniture and stuff like that.

Chippa I registered at Macys and C*B and have had no problems so far.
A friend registered at Fortunoffs and got duplicate gifts. Everything worked out for her.
I would say to enjoy it and take your time. Its VERY overwhelming... I wouldn't say be shopper concsience, rather register for items in all price ranges.

I've been looking at things on line that I like and making notes of things.

I told FI it's going to be overwhelming and he said dont worry just aim and shoot the zapper. if you dont like it, take it off later.
