We're in Connecticut!!! We're booking!!!

Okay, so we've been here at the inn for a couple of hours, going over everything with the innkeeper. We broke off an hour ago for dinner, and are going back downstairs at 9:30. I can't believe we're really booking! Our wedding is really going to happen!

Oh, and we're probably changing our date... I'm a teacher, and 6/14/08 makes more sense (it's the weekend before Regents Week, and there's not a whole lot of work to do before and it's pretty much the start to summer vacation right after) than 06/07/08.

I'll come back in a few hours and let you know how it all went - I'm just so excited and had to share with you all!!!

Ok, so we finished our meeting a little while ago. We decided on June 14, 2008. The owner wants our down payment - 33%!!!- in a few weeks, so I'm not going to add myself to the date thread till then, but it's pretty official.
We're getting married here! It's a little scary that I won't have you LIW girls to help me out with vendors, and that I'll have to make it on my own for photographers and florists, but other than that I'm really excited to have a 'country weekend' wedding. Yay!
