I had wedding programs that listed all of the BP's names as well as the parents. Scott, I and our parents had a rec line at the Church. Many of my BMs thanked me for not having them introduced. Also, I am 32 and 90% of my BP is in their 30's so the whole big hoopla intro thing just didn't appeal to us. It is a personal preferance. I did do an anniversary dance and had my parents dance to their wedding song.

I think the intro is a nice thing for the bride and groom, my BP loved it, they even did a special intro dance for hubby and I. It is a personal choice tho'Michelle what does age have to do with an intro

Where the DJ is or band the wall opens up and has about 20 steps that are lighted and you walk down.Something like out of a Vegas Show..

Cippyloo you are going to be too darn excited you are not even going to be nervous anymore. All the nervousness passes once the ceremony is over, that's when you breathe a sigh of relief.

after all the help my dad gave us for the wedding, I was not going to not introduce him - after all the weddings we've been to over the years the brides parents were always introduced, I didn't want him to think I wasn't proud of them or anything like that - we introduced DH's grandma with his cousin excorting her to make her feel special, then our parents, then all the guys together, all the girls together (like, our bridesmaids, jennifer, erica, nichole and jenn!) which was different than the usual couple thing - then MOH alone, BM alone, then us.

It builds such excitement and sets the tone, I loved it, I was getting so anxious waiting for our turn, our guest were so pumped!!! Don't miss out on being introduced it is truly a wonderful experience.

The age thing- It is more of a 'been there, done that' type thing for my friends. I am the last to get married.Again, it is totally up to you if you want to do it or not.
