Well, he did it first with a orange juice container band... so i didnt take it seriously... but then after when he started talking wedding plans.... i was like

i was shocked when he did it bc i had a hunch it was going to happen on the cruise we were goin on like a week later... and later i found out that a friend of mine told him i thought it would be then (which i was right) so he did it a week earlier with me in my pj's in my apt...

it's really bizarre, but i just had this feeling. then FH to the initiative to book the hot air balloon ride we'd been talking about for vacation, and it was confirmed. a BM ratted me out to him, he told me it was 'off' for reasons he didn't want to discuss, I chose to believe him against my gut, and he ended up doing it.

I don't know how he pulled it off, but he definitely surprised me! I already knew he was going to propose eventually and I had a feeling he was going to do it that night and I told him as much...but then he told me he wasn't even thinking of doing it and 'IF' he was going to propose, it would probably be a year or two later...he almost had me in tears! But his father had the ring in his pocket the whole time and FH proposed an hour or so later He really had me surprised

i was surprised, because i thought he wasnt going to do it, so i just gave up on bothering him about it after awhile, and thats when he surprised me completely and did it

I knew it was COMING-----I wasn't sure WHAT DAY---although he started dropping hints and i had an inkling....and my fam was acting ODD....but... all in all I kinda knew it was coming..... but he definitely made me wait it out the day of..... and i was almost ready to give up and think.. 'maybe it's not today'

I always said it would happen on my Birthday, however I was still shocked when he did it. I mean I was hoping and praying, and I even told my mom who also had no idea, that I hope he proposes. And he did. I didn't know how he was going to do it, or where. It being my birthday really camoflaged it well. It was so great! My 25th birthday will always be remembered as a special birthday.

We were going on vacation to Hawaii and myself and all my friends were like 'he has to do it there'. But he had just changed jobs and moved to LI and kept telling me he needed more time to save money for the ring. Totally threw me off track so when he did do it in Hawaii I think my first words were 'What are you doing? How did you do this?'

I was really suprised! We had been talking about it, but I had always told him to wait until I am done with school. SO I just assumed that he would wait unitl I was done with my masters. And then right there at the Columbus Day Parade! I was a bawling mess!

I was surprised b/c he told me I wouldn't be getting a ring until Summer of 08' so one day he tells me he is going to work and I believed him...turns out he really went to the store w/ his brother. So later on he tells me to meet him in queens...after that we drove to MY PARK...and we walked around and I still had NO IDEA .....and we sat on a bench with all grass around it except for 1 little patch of rocks (see pic in my album for our view) .....and he kept talking about stuff and I kind of zoned out and started thinking of how thirsty I was when BAM! (oh back story the day b4 he broke his phone and had mine all day)He says 'So how are you going to tell everyone if I have your phone?' and I snapped back ' Tell everyone WHAT!?!!?' And right there he pulled out the box and got on one knee (in the patch of rocks) and gave me MY RING!

I started crying! and then proceeded to make 3 1/2 hours of phone calls to tell EVERYONE!

We even told my pizza guy that night b/c I was starving and he gave us free food

I was totally surprised... Fh and I had only been together 2 & 1/2 years and in my mind i figured it would be another good 2 years or so... he totally caught me off gaurd,,, next month we will have been engaged for a year and sometimes im still in disbelief!
