Can anyone give me an idea of the price for a Sat evening wedding in Sept 07. Also does anyone know if they are flexible with their prices?

Re: westbury manor
I know the prices are flexible, but when I first spoke to my WM BM about pricing back in 3/05, a Saturday evening wedding in July was about $125 per person. I don't think September will be far off since it's still peak wedding season. The post above was probably for a daytime wedding in September.
HTH!

How is that possible? That doesn't sound right to me at all.
I am pretty sure they quoted us around $115 for a Sat. night in July. We are actually getting married on Sun. during the day, and we are paying more than $65pp, and we did negotiate the price down. We didn't gurantee 200, but still I can't see the price being that low for a Sat. night wedding. Is it a weekday wedding?

Great - I'm not the only one that thinks that price is really low.

Their prices went up, but they're still lower than other catering halls and their food and service is impeccable...

Re: westbury manor
my next door neighbor and his fiancee got a DEAL on a saturday night in november b/c of a LAST minute cancellation so they planned their wedding in FOUR months (somehow) to do it-- and it was still about $85 a person (he told me b/c he was excited at the deal he got), guaranteed 175 and they threw in a few extras (choc fountain, etc) b/c it was a cancellation-- in one of the rooms with the french doors that looks out to the gardens so i can't see unless it was a similar situation how that could be on a sat evening esp in september when november is less money... but who knows what their situation was....

Re: westbury manor
there is no way it's $65 for a night wedding.i'm paying $70 for a daytime wedding in july and i guaranteed 175 people! not far off from 200.
there has to be something that your friend isn't telling you, or she misinformed you

Re: westbury manor
I'm paying more than 70 for a sunday daytime wedding in oct. 06 too.I wonder if your friend got the deal cus :
1. she knows someone at Westbury
2. she booked it years in advance
3. she got a last minute cancel date and can guarantee that many guests.
65/head is half price and it's a sweet deal. WM peak season Saturday night is definitely NOT that cheap otherwise.

there is definitely a piece missing to this puzzle. I am paying more than that for a Sunday night in April.
if that is her price WOWOWOW, but there HAS TO BE some mitigating circumstance. there is no way they are THAT flexible...
unless she cut WAY down on the amount of entrees and other stuff (maybe from the usual 7 down to 3 or something)

Jaime, didn't you say this was a cancellation?
Also, March is not considered 'peak season' like Sept. is, right?
Girl, you get all the great deals!!

Westbury Manor is a beautiful place. I don't know exact prices, but I have heard they're very reasonable.
