Westbury Manor
My fiance & I are thinking about booking Westbury Manor this week... Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should make sure that they include on the contract or anything that we should look out for? Any help you guys could give - will be greatly appreciated. =)

Westbury Manor
well, my cousin got married there. It was very nice. One thing that bothered me a little was the fact that people from the other wedding were very close to the people at our wedding. The lobby got a bit confusing at times. Maybe ask if they could start one of the weddings a bit later. Good Luck!!

We booked the WM ... our wedding is in June ...
whatever you want or know you will want -negotiate before hand. We are adding to our menu and at the time the banquet manager said we have enough food, so I thought, okay maybe I won't get this/that. But in the end, we want it and are going to have to pay more for it. Negotiate everything before! It is beautiful there though! WE loved it! :-)

We booked the WM also, here's what they did..
We are getting married in Oct. this year and the guy we went through is throwing in vietamiese hour (spelling?), a fourth choice for entrees, an ice sculpture (I'm not too into them, but they have a nice vase that they carve and put flowers in it), extra stations for the coctail hour, and something else that I just can't remember right now. I thought it was a pretty good deal. We also got them to drop the minimum guest number to 150 instead of 175 since a lot of our guests will be coming from overseas and we're not sure if they will come with everything that's been happening (most are from Isrial). The one thing that does bother me though are the bathrooms. Does anyone else feel this way? To me they smelt like smoke, were not as clean as I would like them to be, and all the guests at WM use them. There are no private bathrooms for our guests. Do you feel the same way? What are you doing? Good luck!

Kelly4 ...
I'm not crazy about the bathrooms either - they are small too. But we loved the grounds and the room, it didn't alter our decision. It sounds like you got a great deal - that's awesome that you got a fourth entree - I didn't even think of that. We got the viennese trays thrown in, because we didn't know if we wanted the tables, so it is not going to cost us that much for the tables, since they are just going to take the difference. But if I would have known before, I definitely would have negotiated.

Went to a wedding at WM in early March
The bathrooms are a little small but they were not crowded. This was on a Sat night with the restaurant/bar open so I dont think you have anything to worry about.

We went to a wedding there in June and we had a wonderful time. The cocktail party was outside and it was just beautiful. The food and service were very good too and our friends (the bride and groom) were very pleased with everything. Good Luck Karen

maybe you could light a scented candle on the counter to help with the smoke smell if you wanted!
