Westbury Manor

Westbury Manor

We've booked Westbury Manor for our small wedding. We were kind of in a hurry when we did it. We will be having the ceremony outside on a Sunday 11am and then the cocktail will be in the executive room, and the reception in Hill Room. I know WM holds more than 1 wedding at a time. During my first visit, we were told that that whole 2nd floor will be ours so we'll have total privacy. After paying the DP, I found out that the Bridal Room of the bride who'll be having wedding downstairs is on the second floor right by the stairs. Considering the stairs is pretty narrow, I'm afraid there'll be some chaos between my guests and the other bridal party around the stairs area. I still love the place very much and not considering changing venue. I just need someone to tell me how things will turn out just fine...Does anyone have similar experience? How did it turn out? Thanks.

Westbury Manor is so so so professional in cases like this. I am booked with them and I am very pleased by their service and suggestions. My fiance's family has had previous gatherings there and always rave about them! I can assure that they will not let this ruin your day. But, definately inquire about this because you have every right to know about the details about that.

Re: Westbury Manor

Hey!

I got married at the Westbury Manor in October. I was so impressed with how professional they were, trust me everything was taken care of.

Our ceremony was in the Hill Room (upstairs), Cocktail Hour was outside and out reception was in the Garden Room. Our bridal suite was the one right by the stairs, and the other bride that had her wedding in the Manor room had the bridal suite on the other side of the upstairs level. I NEVER saw anyone! Truthfully, the Westbury schedules all the timing appropriately so you don't come in contact. The only time you might have your guests seeing other guests of another wedding is in the washroom.

HTH :) Good luck, you will not be disappointed in WM!

Thank youuu very much. At least now I don't have to worry about that :D I live overseas and currently visiting NY to do wedding preparation so everything is like rushed. LIWeddings has been very very helpful.

Thank you all!!

I went to a wedding there a couple of years ago and have wanted to have mine there ever since. Sadly, they no longer do kosher which is what I need, but when I was there last time, I know there was another wedding at the same time b/c I went to look at the other room, but I know we didn't see or come across any of their guests the entire time we were there. The outdoor gardens are just beautiful and I'm sure you'll be very happy there. I know I'm jealous!

Re: Westbury Manor

Im booked at westbury manor and i just realized i had a question reading this, does anybody know by any chance if there are bathroom attendents and do they provide with supplies (hairspray, lotion ect) or do we have to supply them? Also i was also shown one bridal suite which was rediculously tiny and the photgraphy area which is in the attic??? where is there another bridal suite? i have to ask when i go to the showcase in march.

Re: Westbury Manor

The last time I went for a showcase there was an attendant in the batheroom with a few supplies so I assume she would be there for an actual wedding. But it's probably safe for you to ask and report back

And they do have two bridal suites. I've only seen one and yea it was kinda small.
