We just booked the Westbury Manor for our wedding today. I thought it strange we got such a cheap price for a Sunday and that they do not offer tastings. Its a Scotto Bros place so I assume its well done, but does anyone think this is strange? Has anyone ever been to an affair there? I feel in love with the grounds but I'm curious about the food.
Thanks!

Re: Westbury Manor - any feedback?
Congratulations!!! I love WM! I believe the reason they do not do tastings is because there is a restaurant housed within the catering hall (the polo club or lounge?). So FH and I plan on going there to test out the food for our anniversary dinner...

WM Bride here. WM is fabulous. No need for a tasting really...just eat at the restaurant. The food is fabulous! WM is no longer a 'Scotto Brothers' facility, even though it is run by Jerry Scotto. You can come to my wedding in two weeks...we've got an opening!

Shellibean - are you going for your 'pre' anniversary dinner? Let me know how it goes and what you ate!!
Thanks for the advice ladies, I was sold on the place as soon as I saw the peacocks, but my sister is a party planner for a living and is very nervous that I put down a deposit without a tasting or any recommendations!! So of course she made me nervous now..... The family issues begin!

I'll bump the 'Official WM Bride Thread' for you. You'll see tons of happy brides. Trust me...I've been to places where the food isn't good. The food at WM is FANTASTIC!

We looked at WM and they actually gave us a gift certificate to have dinner there which we did. The food was fabulous!! I would definately look into it!!

Actually, our 4 year dating anniversary is the 26th of October, but I think I have class that night, so we are going to go on our pre-wedding anniversary!! Will let you know how it goes, I'm sure we will be happy!

We booked the WM and absolutely love it. FH and I just did our menus last week and we decided to go to the Polo restaurant for dinner afterwards. The food was AMAZING. I have never heard anything bad about the WM - you should feel very confident in your choice I'm getting married in less than 2 months - you can count on a full detailed review from me

Re: Westbury Manor - any feedback?
Hi, My sister got married there in April, and it was nothign less than FABULOUS! And when they booked, they were able to have dinner in the restaurant paid for by WM. You should ask someone about that. I wouldn't worry, they were amazing and took care of us completely. You won't be disappointed!
