We had no complaints about the cake and actually at the One year mark it didn't taste as horrible as I thought it would (considering it was frozen for a year)!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
I have a question for all WM brides. When My FI & I booked Wm they threw in a bunch of extras. One of the extras is BBQ items. Has anyone ever heard of this? I went to the WM bridal showcase tonight and I got this pamplet that had all the extras that you can add and the prices. I didnt see the BBQ items on it. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this and if so what is the price per person. And if you havent heard of this do you think its weird to have BBQ items at a wedding. I am thinking I might have them give us something else instead. Thanks!

They didn't mention anything about BBQ being included, but I did notice that they have a big brick BBQ out on the patio where the CH is.. maybe they are doing something for you during CH.. I think that would be cool!

Yes it will be at the CH. We booked about 1 and a half ago but it was just something that they threwin for us. You think that doesnt sound weird to have a BBQ at a wedding?

Unfortunately i was not able to attend the bridal showcase at the WM last night
Someone mentioned they gave out a pamphlet with extras and pricing... would anyone mind posting just some of those extras (just the good ones are fine!) and what the cost of them would be?
did you girls enjoy the showcase? did i miss anything really good?
thanks girls!

I went last night also. I have a lot done (photo, dj and almost flowers) so there wasn't too much for us to look at. I LOVED the chocolate fountain! The chocolate covered cookie was really good, although hard to eat.
Oh, we did take a look at the Escalade limo -- those things are SO huge!I didn't see that pamplet, though. Could you post the extras listed?

Thank you, Jessica!
For the BBQ, I thought I saw a spit in the seating area outside, but I wasn't sure. I guess I was right.

no problem...I am just sitting here wondering what I am actually paying for right now!
meaning when I agreed to the price and signed the contract....it seems everything I thought I was getting is an upgrade!

We were there last night picked up the pamphlet and thought...We're paying enough money now...Can't imagine 'upgrading' on top of that!!!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
I was at the showcase last night...I didn't see anything about upgrading...but from those prices that were listed I don't think I would be interested...
FH couldn't make it but I told him about the choclate fountain...yummmm...I just don't think I would want my guests standing in a line (like we did last night)...jmo...even though it was DELICI....
I haven't ruled it out completely...Oh did anyone see the caligraphy table??? What did you girls think of the framed seating chart???? I thought it was so different and original...I loved it...I think I might do something like that instead of individual seating cards...

I had the same thought exactly!! Even if it was less expensive, there would be 100 people standing in line!!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
I really HATE the idea of having to pay per person for some things that I know not eveyone will indulge in.like seafood, in my family we are completely divided- you either love it or hate it! but it would be a waste of money to pay per person (and have a portion alotted for everyone) when only half the people will eat it.
