We are having guests stay at the Wingate and also didn't want them getting confused with Foxhollow, so I rolled up 2 small pieces of tape and taped the Wingate directions on the back of the Westbury manor directions.

If they want, they can still take it off if they choose to stay at foxhollow, but it looked good.

That's a good idea. I'm kind of annoyed that they
are advertising The Inn at Fox hollow on the back. I think I'm
going to do the same.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I started stuffing envelopes.
Do you send a hotel card to everyone or just people who you think will use the hotel? I don't have enough cards for everyone, but may be surprised about people who want to stay.

P.S- After doing the tape, it is working well. The cards are pretty close in size, so it looks good together. I tried glue sticking it at first and it didn't stay.

Can you get more hotel cards? You may have some local family who want to stay at a hotel just to be closer to you and the hall.

Ohh that is a good idea. I don't have my cards yet, but now I'm ready for when I do get them. Thanks!

I'll be there too...not sure with who, but at least I am going!

By the way, have you girls heard any positives/negatives about the cake provided by WM? I am getting a little nervous after reading some reviews of other cakes provided by other banquet halls.

i went there for dinner with my family not to long ago. to be honest, the cake just didn't do anything for me. it tasted bllahhh. it was not horrible by any means, but personally, i have such a sweet tooth so i think i am going to bring in a cake from elsewhere for my wedding!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I asked the BM about the cake, and she said she had it for her sons wedding who just got married there in february and it was great, you can go to the bakery that they use and taste the cakes and fillings.. I believe it Erga bakery in bethpage, dont quote me on that, but im sure if u call your BM she will tell u who they use..

When I got married it was Erga Bakery. You can double check, but unless they changed it that is the place. The woman is very nice. She will let you try some pastries to get ideas for the fillings. Then we brought some pastries home for our family.
