I really like the fountain -- where do you think they set it up?

I think you could tell them, depending on how the room is set up...wasn't it by the doors to the terrace yesterday...if you are having your cocktail hour out there (I am) then I don't think they would put it there.by the way, did anyone see the peacock that came to the door....I would LOVE a pic of that when it feathers it's tail!

Hi I wasnt at the showcase but I am getting the caligraphy framed seating chart from Pedestals. i dont know if they were the ones showing it. For 100 names and some inserts and center monogram it cost me 380. my wedding is a week from today I will post pics!

I was at the showcase last night...I didn't see anything about upgrading...but from those prices that were listed I don't think I would be interested...FH couldn't make it but I told him about the choclate fountain...yummmm...I just don't think I would want my guests standing in a line (like we did last night)...jmo...even though it was DELICI....

I haven't ruled it out completely...
Oh did anyone see the caligraphy table??? What did you girls think of the framed seating chart???? I thought it was so different and original...I loved it...I think I might do something like that instead of individual seating cards...

I was at the showcase lastnight also, i didnt get a pamphlet but I added some 'enhancements' when I signed my contract and those prices that are listed are definitely not set in stone

I guess it depends too on when you booked the hall because those prices are WAY more than what we payed we booked in sept 04. and they are NOT that negotiable we tried for added stuff that NEW contracts are getting and they wont budge on certain items. Good Luck though never hurts to try!

I'm sorry, I know this has been said probably 100 times - but can someone tell me - what bakery does the WM use for its cakes? Thank you!

We're having OOT guests stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. $135 & $155 a night depending on if they want a suite or not. It's very nice there... indoor pool, whirlpool, clean big rooms too! They just opened up within the past year.
We originally wanted the Wingate, but that weekend they're booked up. We're very happy with our choice.

If you are blocking out rooms in hotels for yourselves and OOT people, which hotel are you using and why? I don't know what is close to the WM, so any and all help is appreciated.TIA!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
question for those who've picked out their menus already.. what did you choose for appetizer???i'm leaning towards the seafood cocktail... does anyone know if that's any good? as you know, WM doesn't do tastings. i might be going there next month for dinner though, but any advance insight would be helpful!

Hello Ladies,After reading a ton of the recent posts, I wonder who your BM's are?
I signed with Joaquim in Jan 2005. I haven't been back recently, does any know if he's still there? Thanks!

Hi we went with and its not on the menu when you do your menu you will find out things have been added- we got the portabello mushroom over greens- its a huge mushroom over different greens very yummy, we went with this b/c in our CH we had a ton of food and the seafood boat so didnt want more seafood and it saves you a half hour in dance time- you save on pasta time, salad time so we opted to have more dance time and the salad is huge! Good Luck
