Hi Candi! Welcome and congratulations. I booked with Hilton Garden Inn - Westbury. I liked them because they offer a free shuttle for the exact number of guests booked under your hotel block, and I have a lot of out of town (OOT) guests.

Many girls have also booked with La Quinta. They offer a free shuttle as well but for 14 guests. I've heard great things about them.

yea, i think im going to check out those two. i was going to go with the fox hollow inn but they told me i have to sign a 'no party' clause and no one can even hangout in the courtyard, AND if they find anyone with more then 4 people in the rooms then they will ask them to leave the hotel grounds, i dunno if i want somewhere so strict!

anyone hear of this??

re: la Quinta, I just left my cc # with Tylene (filled out one of those authorization sheets) and that holds the suite. They don't charge the card until after you CHECK OUT. If you want to pay another way or with cash you can do that at check out. It just holds the room. If you don't hold it with a cc, someone else can book the room if they give their cc first.... Def do it early!!!!

Tylene had said she just worked with a bride who booked her rooms only a few months out and it was so hard to accommodate her because it was so close to her day...

I'm telling you the suite is huge and its def won't break the bank..... ($259 a night compared to $575 at Uniondale Marriott)

This is her direct ext.. if you go on a Tuesday there is a girl at the front desk who isn't the friendliest. I went their 2x on a Tuesday and she was not helpful at all. The first time I went there she basically told me they had nothing and wanted me to leave. I asked for a manager and Tylene came out and all was perfect. She just didn't seem like she wanted to be bothered.
