YaaaaaaYYYYYY!!! that's great. Ask for Tyleen if you go there. I called on Sunday to see if i needed an appt. to look at the rooms and they told me no, just come between 9-5 Mon through Friday. So I show up Tuesday around 1pm and the girl at the counter was cold and snotty. All she said was 'we have no rooms available. It's all booked' She said Sunday was the best day to come. I explained that I was told Mon-Friday b/c the sales people were in. She didn't want to be bothered. Thankfully my sister told me to ask for a manager and that's when Tyleen came out. She showed us what she had (reg rooms but I had previously seen a jr. suite there) and was great.

She had the huge suite and a jr. suite available the next day but I had to work. I had my sister meet with her yesterday(who knew exactly what I wanted) and we did everything over the phone. All the rooms are booked !!!!! She is mailing me the hotel cards and the contract as well.

If you have a problem. def speak to Tyleen. She was so wonderful and friendly. Great customer service.

I went on a sat and the guy who showed me around was great. We looked at 2 suites and the regular rooms. I'm going with the grand bridal suite. I booked mine already also.

The cards are cheap looking. They are regular paper cut up. Some of the edges are not even straight. I'm not using them

Hey all. I ended up not booking with La Quinta because of the shuttle issue. They only have a 14 passenger bus regardless of guests. Are any of you worried about this? Gracias.

Hey all. I ended up not booking with La Quinta because of the shuttle issue. They only have a 14 passenger bus regardless of guests. Are any of you worried about this? Gracias.

since my weddin is at night they said going back to the hotel they would able to give me the 22 passenger - but i honestly don't think i will have 15 rooms booked so i might look else where for the shuttle

I am not worried about the shuttle b/c i don't think i will have all 15 rooms booked. My family from out of state will stay there for the week before and I will have my suite for the day before and honeymoon night. They will have their own transportation to get back and forth. If more people stay there than I think will i'll figure something out.

nope - whatever doesn't get booked a month before the wedding just goes back into inventory

yup thats right. They will release the rooms 30 days before the wedding and you will still get the same rate they gave you if all the rooms had been booked. They don't increase it if you only have a few rooms. Ask for Tyleen, she is great. She actually booked my family's rooms yesterday after the block was all set up and she left me a msg saying not to worry, she already has them staying on a different floor than FH and I. can't wait!

Hey girls... Are we allowed to do our own candy bar??? I found jars that I had to have and now I hope I didn't bye it for no reason. Also when FH StepSIL booked westbury manor for 4 months after us Natasha said she should gift us something. Do you think it is wrong to ask her for the gift?? We are so strapped for cash.

Hi,
I think you can do your own candy bar but check with BM first. They just don't want tons of boxes from COSTCO coming in and making it look tacky. They have had problems in the past. I think as long as you show them how you will present it and what you will use you can do your own. I was told that people were tacky enough to try and use regular tupperware instead of nice glass jars and such so that is why they prefer to do it.

When we booked with Felicia she gave us a bottle of blueberry liquore (sp?) for FH, and she gave me a beautiful silver wedding planner that was made exclusively for WM brides, and a gift certificate to go to their restaurant anytime since they don't do tastings.

P.S. has anyone received their gifts that they won from the bridal showcase? Harrison called me last week and said it was being mailed but I haven't received it yet.
