Maybe if you say it's for a party and not a wedding it would be cheaper...don't understand how it can be the same price no matter which day


I don't think it would matter and the discount only applies if all 10 rooms are booked which i really don't think is going to happen in my case but which might be the case in all hotels

That suc ks b/c we wanted to do blocks as well but don't want people to have to spend lots of $$ or have to guarantee a certain # or rooms.

Guess we will wait until we are closer to see if anyone in interested in them

well it isn't like you have to guarantee you might just not get the discount

and they definately are a lot more than expected

Ok just called Laquinta - definately booking with them

$139 block of 10 rooms - but you get that price regardless of how many rooms you book - free breakfast in the morning and free shuttle if you book 15 rooms otherwise $100 each way

i got a hold of marriot and la quinta

Marriot gave me a rate of 169 when you block 10 rooms if they don't book the 10 rooms you are not liable to pay for them!! I asked about a shuttle but she didn't know! I will have to call back and find out


La quinta gave me a rate of 159 and it includes continental breakfast i asked again about transportation for the guest and they don't provide it but I asked how much would it be and she will have someone call me back.

I am still waiting to hear from Holiday Inn and Hilton Garden Inn I will keep you ladies updated!

yeah i posted the price in the thread and i believe they told me that it doesn't matter the time of year and anyway your month is probably more exp than mine

that is what i am going to do see how much my limo company costs with the shuttle

well they aren't giving me a shuttle for free unless i book 15 rooms otherwise it costs $100 each way

Hey chris where did you get that WM has baileys cream for there cake? it wasn't on the sheet???

yeah it was we tasted it that night. I think we are doing chocolate cake with baileys cream and strawberrys....it was sooooo yum!!!!!
