danielle, if it makes you feel any better, i wouldn't have been able to go april 18 either. FH and I are going away for the weekend.

i have like no weekends free between now and september, it's horrible

Hello! (this is my first post on LIW, still getting used to the lingo)

im so glad there is a WM thread! My FH and i went to WM yesterday and we loved it! Met with Mel... My only concern was that we couldnt find many reviews on the place, good or bad. Did anyone find any not so great things about WM? We want to book ASAP because there are only 2 days left in the summer of 2010, but were a little hesitant with not finding any reviews. Can anyone point me in the right direction? (I searched the brides review and the only review that came up was from summer 2008. (if i recall correctly) ) THANKS!

do a search on here of westbury manor ans specify brides review...there are a bunch of reviews...from 2008...dont expect many late 2008/2009 reviews because it usually takes people lots of time to post them so any in 2008 should be vaild

Also, If you look at the bottom of the page (when you comment on this thread), it usually pulls up a couple of reviews. BTW, I have heard nothing but good things even prior to booking with them.

Any thoughts about this from before.....

I have question about the showcase upgrades, since they do it at every one it doesn't matter. It says,

'To add any upgrades that are not listed here, please see one of our BMs or stop by the WM info booth.

Clients adding two or more upgrades will receive their choice of any ONE of the listed bonus items for FREE.'

Does that mean that if I add any two upgrades, even those not listed on the sheet, I'd get a bonus upgrade????

At the last showcase I added the one chocolate fountain and the ice scuplture (neither which were on the list) and got the martini bar for free. I got the ice sculpture and the chocolate fountain 20% off. HTH

I'm new to LIW. I'm booked at the WM! My wedding date is Sunday, April 25, 2010! We fell in love with the place as soon as we walked in! We went to 4 other places afterwards and couldn't wait to go back and book! We have been booked there since March 1st!

Harrison is our Banquet Manager, we loved him! We already ate at the Polo Lounge with our gift ceritificate, we didn't waste any time. The food was EXCELLENT. I also just attended the March 25th Showcase. It was very crowded, but we had a great time :)

I'm in love with the silver wedding planner book they gave us. I've already started putting all of our stuff in it.

I think someone posted that they couldn't find any reviews on WM. Ever since I booked there, so many people are telling me about weddings they have been to there, and I haven't heard ONE bad thing. Everyone loves it there. I think it's such a charming place, and we got such a great price for a Sunday.
