westbury manor versus woodbury cc

Hi ladies,

Fh and I went to see fox hollow, crest hollow, woodbury cc and westbury manor yesterday and fell in love with woodbury and westbury!

The problem is that I haven't attended a wedding at either so I have no reference about the food and service other than online reviews and am having a hard time choosing.

The prices were comparable though WM seemed more willng to compromise with our 200 person guarantee. Love the grounds andd rooms of both just undecided with if I want a modern or english feel.

Reviews and opinions on both would be appreciated as we plan to book next week.

Did anyone do a tasty prior to booking?

Westbury Manor is AMAZING!! Their food is beyond phenomenal!

I haven't been to Woodbury but we feel in love with Westbury Manor. If you are getting married in the summer/spring the grounds should make your decision easier. We love the food and have tried it a few time. We did do a tasting for 4 people.

We put a deposit down to hold the date but did not sign the contract. We had them write that it was pending a tasting. We did sign the contract after the tasting. I think a decision had to be made after the tasting. Ask your BM.

I dont know about Woodbury BUT Westbury Manor has amazing food. FH & I have even ate at their restaurant

Westbury Manor is having a Bridal showcase soon and you can sample all of their food there. It's good. I booked with WM before the tasting because I heard so many great things about the food and weddings there.

We had our wedding at Westbury Manor and I cannot say enough great things about them. Our guests are still raving about our wedding and how everything was organized and how they were treated like family by the staff. I have some pics on my album and review. HTH!

I've never been to Woodbury CC, but the food at Westbury Manor is great and it's a beautiful place!! A friend of mine got married there and had nothing but amazing things to say about the service!

The bridal showcase is only for registered couples. It was more a tasting of the extras (chocolate fountain, sangria bar, mash potato bar, etc.) not the cocktail hour or dinner foods.

When I went they had the cocktail hour food being passed around along with the stuff you listed but your're right they didnt have dinner food.

Updating to say that we booked at Woodbury Country Club! We clicked with everyone there, they really worked with us on pricing and the food we tasted was delicious!!!!!!
