I just read the post about the wedding 'trends' that are being overdone. So, now lets all post things that we are doing to make our wedding different than everyone else's wedding.

I'll start...To honor my mom, instead of tossing the bouquet, I am going to give my mom the bouquet... and if I don't break down crying, I will make a short speech about how she showed me how to love and be loved.

my dress is light gold with a blush pink shimmer,
no bridesmaids or groomsmen
FGs are in pink
RBs are carrying small jewelry boxes instead of pillows

my bok is a beidermeyer style (cocentric circlesof the same flowers)

pew candles at the church

escort card display (diy)
menus will be trifold to open in the middle with table symbols as a seal, menu and a story about us inside

favors are in the vintage style: edible with a label explaining the tradition and a 'fortune' symbol stamped on the box

Father daughter dance and mother son dance will be shared by other father/daughters and mother/sons this was my idea! (I heard someone else did it with their dj's idea)

I want to have a choregraphed dance for my female friends and family- but i'm running out of time for that...

FH said the other day that i'm adding unnecessary stress by 'adding too much stuff'- after my response he said a cookie-cutter wedding would be fine if you were more relaxed .... silly guys
